On a frosty fall or winter's eve, what could possibly be better than a steaming cup of hot chocolate? I love it --- that sweet, creamy, full-bodied, rich liquid flowing gently down my throat, warming winter chills. I prefer mine with whipped cream (marshmallows are disgusting) and a little dusting of cocoa powder or cinnamon or nutmeg. Add a simple little cookie on the side --- shortbread, biscotti or gingersnap. Now THIS is heavenly. Mmmmmm, my Cocomotion is calling . . . . .

Remember When
I just saw this picture today and I can't stop laughing. Oh, the innocence of little girls discovering.

A Centurian Tribute
Saturday, I attended the funeral of my Uncle Ross. He was the last living of my father's six brothers and he survived my father by 10 years. Had my father lived, he would have recently celebrated his 100th birthday. It was interesting to hear the similarities between Uncle Ross, my dad, and no doubt the other brothers. They insisted on being early to everything. They worked with great vigor. They loved the temple, helping other people and ice cream. I'll bet those Nielsen brothers are having a baseball game and a big dish of vanilla ice cream together.
