Words of Widsom From Japan

When we lived in Tokyo, we quickly learned to laugh at appreciate the way that the Orientals “use” the English language. Apparently, they like using English, they just don’t always have a great command of the proper meanings.

Our Japanese friend, Kenya, posted this on his Facebook page, which made me laugh:

I have no idea what his message is as he only wrote:

変な看板――英語も日本語もちょっとずいぶん変だけど,こんな看板を作る人たちの勇気(?)に脱帽。

I'll never know what "The nation most greatly buys the knife website" actually means, but it gave me a laugh, and a craving for those yummy 7-11 frozen lemonade thingys.

I have tried to freeze pinapple and reproduce those yummy things- it just isn't the same. that billboard is so funny!!
